1998: satellitar data communications for the study of the Changri Nup glacier near mount Everest (project conducted by the University of Brescia) - see website
From 1999: Radio systems for geochemical monitoring in seismic and volcanic areas on Etna, Vulcano, Stromboli, Campi Flegrei and Vesuvio
2003 - 2004 (extended in 2012): Antarctica - UHF network for meteorological CNR stations
