SATELLINE-3AS NMS

The SATELLINE-3AS NMS is a radio modem operating on the UHF (330 … 470 MHz) frequencies, in half-duplex mode, that integrates the Network Management System (NMS) function.

The NMS function, through the dedicated software "SATEL NMS PC", permits the easy management of the radio modem and of the links of a radio network remotely and/or via Ethernet-IP. This software also makes it possible to design, configure and test networks, even complex ones, and to reprogramme the network from remote. It is also possible to monitor the operating status of the network by setting up triggers/alarms or by gathering the operating parameters of the radio modems among which, for example, the operating temperature, the power supply voltage and the strength of the received signal.

Transmission strength: 10 mW ... 1 W (can be set up via SW).

Net throughput in air:  9,600 bps (12.5 kHz channel spacing) and 19,200 bps (25 kHz channel spacing).

Compatible with RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 interfaces.

Thanks to the great sensitiviy as a receiver, this modem permits connections on long distances.

It can be used as a repeater, while keeping working as a local transmitter receiver.

The error rate can be minimised through the FEC (Forward Error Correction) function.

The modem is also availble with LCD display and push buttons (SATELLINE-3ASd NMS) and in the Dual Band version (SATELLINE-3AS NMS DB).

It is compatible with the SATELLINE-3AS Epic NMS.
