Anchor-Screw-In, 152mm (6") dia.,1.7m (66") long Screw-in anchors are designed for anchoring TallTowers in normal clay soils without many rocks. They should be fixed manually using a cross bar to screw them into the earth like a corkscrew. Unlike tent stakes, the screw-in anchors are installed at an angle so the eye of the anchor is toward the tower, and the helix screws in away from the tower. They are made of galvanized steel, resist to corrosion, are easy to install and supply a good holding power in a wide variety of soils. The cross bar is not included. |

Anchor-Arrowhead, 203mm (8") trngl, 1.2m Anchor-Arrowhead, 203mm (8") trngl, 1.2m arrowhead anchors are designed for anchoring TallTowers in rocky soils. The unique triangular design allows the anchor to thread its way between rocks in the soil. Arrowhead anchors are driven into the ground with a hardened steel drive rod. Once in the ground, the drive rod is removed, and upward force on the attached cable rotates the anchor perpendicular to the cable for maximum holding power. Cables are made of galvanized 7 x 19 steel, and the arrowhead is iron. Use arrowhead anchors when rocks in the soil will prevent successful installation of screw-in anchors. |

Drive Rod for Arrowhead Anchor 1.22m A drive rod is used to drive arrowhead anchors into the ground. The end of the drive rod is hollow and fits over the anchor's shank. The other end of the drive rod can then be pounded using a sledgehammer, fence post driver, or power jackhammer, until the cable eye attached to the anchor is 50mm (2") to 100mm (4") above the surface of the ground. After the anchor is driven, the drive rod is removed, leaving the anchor in the ground. The drive rod is made of steel and will last 2 installations. |
||
Anchor-Rock, 44mm (1.75")dia, 381mm long rod Designed for anchoring TallTowers in solid rock, the rock anchors are constructed of a threaded rod with integral eye and two opposing wedge halves. The anchor should be inserted in a hole pre-drilled in the rock. Twisting the eye of the anchor forces the wedges against the sides of the hole, locking the anchor in place. Load actually increases the wedging force and develops holding power equal to the full tensile strength of the rod. When anchoring in either bare rock or solid rock covered by soil, rock anchors provide an extremely strong anchor point without the use of concrete. Use the 15" rock anchor when anchoring in exposed solid rock. |

Boom, Side, 1.53m(60.5"), Galv. Features: • Made of durable, galvanized steel • Minimizes tower induced flow distortions • Adapter Kit is available for mounting a WindSensor Model P2546A cup anemometer or other sensors. |
||
Boom, Side, 2.54m(95"), Galvanized Side mount booms are used to mount an RNRG #40C Anemometer or RNRG #200P Wind Direction Vane to RNRG TallTowers 8 inches or 10 inches in diameter. Made of galvanized steel, these 2.4 m (95 inch) booms resist corrosion and mount sensors away from RNRG TallTowers to minimize tower induced flow distortions. Features: • For use with RNRG #40C or NRG #200P sensors • Easy to assemble • Robust, dual-beam support structure • Mounting bracket tabs assure proper boom installation • Self-aligning mounting bracket assures secure, 90-degree vertical orientation • Meets or exceeds industry IEC 61400-12-1 recommendations for tower and boom offset distance. |
